Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the J.L.JÖRMUNGANDR desktop application, its web version and related services (the "App"). The App is provided by Ivan Vorobei, an individual developer based in Podgorica, Montenegro ("we", "us").

By creating an account or using the App, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.

2. Not financial advice

The App is a tool for keeping a trading journal and storing and analysing your own data. It does not give financial, investment, tax or legal advice, does not manage your funds and does not place trades on your behalf.

• Reports, statistics, capital forecasts and scenarios are built from your data and do not guarantee future results.
• Quotes and market data come from third parties and may be inaccurate or delayed.
• Posts by other users on the forum are their personal opinions, not our recommendations.
• Trading carries a high risk of losing money. You make all trading decisions yourself and at your own risk.

3. Your account

• You need an account to use the App (email and password, or Google sign-in). One person, one account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity in your account.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms: bypassing licensing, sharing or reselling keys, using several accounts to get trials or points, interfering with our servers, or breaking the forum rules.
• You can delete your account at any time in your profile. An active license ends and cannot be restored; what happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Licenses and payment

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App within your plan. The App's code and design remain ours; you may not copy, decompile or redistribute them.

• A key is bound to your account when activated; it may not be shared or resold.
• Subscription payments are processed by Patreon under its own terms; cancel the subscription in Patreon.
• Crypto payments are processed by NOWPayments under its own terms. The price is set in US dollars and converted into the chosen coin when the invoice is created. Pay the exact amount shown, in the coin and network shown, before the invoice expires; network fees are paid by you. The license is granted to the account that created the invoice once the payment is confirmed on the network, usually within a few minutes.
• If you pay less than the invoice amount, pay in another coin or network, or send funds to an expired invoice, access is not granted automatically: write to gandr.trade@gmail.com with the order ID (shown in your profile under License → Payment history). Funds sent to a wrong address or network may be impossible to recover.
• Refunds: within 14 days of purchase if the key has not been activated; to request one, write to gandr.trade@gmail.com. An activated key is not refundable. A crypto payment unlocks access at once and, like an activated key, is not refundable; if a payment did not unlock access, we either grant the license or return the amount received to a wallet you name, in the same coin, minus network fees.
• We may add, change or remove features and plans; full-version time you have already paid for is kept.

5. Events and points

Points, titles, eggs and other items in events and tournaments are in-game items with no monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold, exchanged for money or transferred to another user.

• Forecast results are settled using third-party market data; in case of a data error, outage or trading halt we may recalculate or cancel a day.
• Points gained through a bug, multiple accounts or automation may be removed.
• Events may change or end; unspent points are not compensated.
• A license bought with points works like any other license (section 4) and is not refundable.

6. The forum and your posts

You keep the rights to your posts. By posting on the forum you allow us to store and display them in the App, including after you delete your account (without your name).

On the forum you must not:

• insult, harass or threaten other users;
• post other people's personal data or content you have no right to;
• advertise, spam, sell signals or account management, or promote dubious schemes;
• impersonate another person or us;
• post unlawful content.

We may hide or remove posts that break these rules and restrict the author's account. Report violations to gandr.trade@gmail.com.

7. Exchanges, third-party services and local data

• Connecting an exchange or broker only imports your trades into the journal. Use read-only API keys; you are responsible for how your keys are configured.
• Exchanges, brokers, Patreon, NOWPayments, Google and data providers operate under their own terms. We are not responsible for their outages, API changes or errors in their data.
• Your trade journal and other local data are stored only on your device. We do not back them up and cannot restore them; back up your JLJData folder yourself.

8. Liability, law and contact

• The App is provided "as is". We work to keep it running without errors or interruptions but do not guarantee it.
• To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits or data loss. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
• These terms are governed by the laws of Montenegro. This does not take away the protection given to you by the consumer laws of the country where you live.
• We will announce material changes to these terms in the App at least 14 days in advance. By continuing to use the App, you accept the new version.
